Technical Evaluations

Marshfield Food Safety can serve as an independent third party to evaluate new technologies and modifications to existing methodologies.
 
New Food Matrix Validations:
Most new technologies are not validated for “all foods”.  Marshfield Food Safety will work with you to design and conduct experiments to validate a new technology for your specific food matrix or application.
     
Novel Enrichment/Media Formulation Evaluations:
Slight modifications to media, media additives, or enrichment time can affect the sensitivity of an assay.  Marshfield Food Safety will work with you to determine the optimal media(s) and enrichment times for your food matrix.

Method/Technology Comparisons:
New Technologies are generally compared to the current standard method.  If you are developing a new technology, Marshfield Food Safety can compare your new technology to the current standard method. If you are thinking of changing technologies in your testing program, Marshfield Food Safety can compare the new technology to your current testing technology to ensure that your testing program is equal to if not better than before.
